Our story began with our frustration over the amount of clutter at home.
We all know living space in Hong Kong is limited, and as families with young children, our homes were filled with kids’ stuff everywhere!
And not to mention the amount of toys we’ve collected over the years. We had toys cluttered all over our apartment and boxes of pre-loved toys sitting around collecting dust. So instead of buying more toys and adding to the clutter, we started borrowing toys from each other regularly, and discovered our kids LOVED sharing and playing with their “new” toys!
At the same time, we were teaching our children the value of sharing, and by buying less toys and replaying pre-loved toys, we were helping to make the world a little greener! Now imagine the impact we can make if all families did the same?
This is what inspired us to launch Hong Kong’s first online Toy Library, Happy Baton.
Happy Baton serves as a new home for unwanted toys, as well as a platform to teach the next generation a more sustainable way to play, on the premise that Less is More.
We believe in sustainability by re-playing and sharing high quality, educational toys. Teaching childen to ‘pass on’ the fun and take care of the environment.
Buy less, play more and reduce the impact on our planet.
