Happy Baton

We offer curated toy boxes of high quality toys tailored to your child’s age and developmental milestones, delivered and swapped at your door for a monthly subscription fee. 

Busy parents who understand the importance of quality play. We have toys for younger children ages from 0 to 4+ years old.  

Toys

A curated box is put together with the advice from our panel of toy experts. We consider your child’s interests, developmental progress and abilities to pick toys that are not only suitable for each age group but are also stimulating, fun and entertaining. 

The Basic Box contains 4 toys and the Premium Box has 5 toys + 1 premium toy. Visit OUR TOYS to see.

The safety and well-being of your children is of utmost importance to us. Before we deliver your toys, we thoroughly clean & sanitize your toys so you can have peace-of-mind that our toys are clean and germ free.

Where possible, our toys are thoroughly steam-cleaned and disinfected with a hospital grade Thermostar Dry Steam Cleaner. The steam is heated up to 174°C, effectively killing germs and bacteria. For the health of your children and the environment, no harmful chemicals are used in the process.

How it works

  1. SIGN UP here– Choose a Basic or Premium box, tell us about your child so we can tailor your box to meet your child’s development needs. 
  2. PICK A DELIVERY DATE- Your toys will be dropped off at your door on your preferred date. Play with the toys for a month of longer!  
  3. REPEAT- You will receive a reminder to return your toys and swap for a new box!

A $300 refundable deposit is required when you first sign up. The deposit is refunded to you when cancel your subscription and all toys are returned in their original condition. 

The deposit is used to cover the cost of any missing/ damaged toys and delivery charges. 

The borrowing period is 4 weeks. However, you can play with the toys as long as you like until your child is ready to swap for their new toy box. Just let us know via your member account. 

You are more than welcome to extend your borrowing period for another month. Just let us know when you receive your email reminder! 

You will get an email reminder to have your toys ready for return and swap for a new box! Please have them ready for collection in their original toy bags and box. All toys must be returned in order to swap for a new toy box.  

At this stage, deliveries and toy pickups are scheduled twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday (except public holidays where we will make alternate arrangements).

Missing pieces & damaged toys

Sometimes the piece may already be noted as missing, be sure to check the bag label. 

If you can’t find it, there is a small charge for each missing piece which in most cases would be $20 depending on the nature of the missing piece. The fee is fully refundable if you later find and return the missing piece. 

 

If the toy is lost or damaged beyond repair, we kindly ask that you to cover 50% of the cost of replacing the toy. 

Shipping & Returns

Your Toy Box delivery is free!

If you live in an apartment without lift access, a “no lift access” surcharge of HK$25 per floor is applicable. 

At this stage we ship to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories. 

You will get an email reminder to have your toys ready for return and swap for a new box! Please have them ready for collection in their original toy bags and box. All toys must be returned in order to swap for a new toy box.  

Returning the toy box is free when you swap for another toy box. Otherwise a $100 collection fee will apply. If you live in an apartment without lift access, a “no lift access” surcharge of $25 per floor will apply.  

Subscription

Please send us an email at support@happybaton.com.hk to suspend your subscription. Please note a toy pick up and admin fee of $100 will apply. 

Yes, if you are on a monthly plan, you can cancel your subscription anytime if you no longer wish to borrow our toy boxes.

If you are on the three or 12 month plan, you may cancel after three or 12 months respectively.

Please email us at support@happybaton.com.hk at least 5 working days before your next payment date to process your cancellation request.

A toy pick up fee of $100 will apply.  

No. Your subscription will auto renew when it ends. You will get monthly emails when we charge you your subscription fee.
